Hello, this is splendid, I'm enjoying it to pieces. I do have one nitpick for you concerning this passage: "City of Hope had a newspaper, a folksy four-page screed run off weekly on a temperamental mimeograph in the basement. Angel leaned back on his cot and propped the fragrant blue-smudged pages up on one knee." That's not mimeography. If it's printed in aniline purple or blue, and the pages smell of solvent, it's ditto, not mimeo. You need to pick one. I recommend mimeo. It's a far more robust and less exacting technology, it has fewer limitations, and it can be made to work with scrounged and adapted materials. (If they'd had the paper to print on, mimeography would have been feasible using Bronze Age technology.) The pages would still be fragrant -- they'd smell pleasantly of mimeo ink -- but they'd be black-smudged, rather than blue-smudged.

I found this site purely by chance.Since Angel's series finale ''Not Fade Away'' has a open ending it's a matter of opinion what happened next.Why not have a writing challenge in which everyone gets to give their view of what happened next.

Wow, this is gorgeous! I can't wait to see where you go with it. In this episode, it's really Illyria I love most of all; you've made the Old Ones and her relationship with them into something believable and actually kinda poignant. The language and characterization are beautiful throughout.

I am impressed with the work you guys have made. I have also trust in you guys that you will show some respect for the core scoobies when they are around Spike, which Joss and ME have failed to do misaribly. And not becoming unlikeble and so OOC from another universe. Respect, but with a backbone and not the sorrow coming out from the asses. I really liked how portrayed Giles wrt Fred's death and how he was NOT sorry for it. That's exactly how I love Giles. Most fans fail to see how he has to protect the world, not playing fanboy hero in it.

Read till midnight and its all your fault. I couldn't put this down. I love Angel esp. his character and this was spot on. All the charcters were and my heart went out to Angel when he just *stopped* being and th elights went out. Bated breath now for more...there WILL be more won't there...please. Well done.

Oh. Wow. WOW. I just read the first episode, and it was awesome. It was everything I could have hoped, or dreamed - and even more importantly, it was *right*. Even Connor's death, which hurts really bad. All of the characters are nailed, and I am so very, very happy to see the new season of Angel. You are a team of amazingly creative people, and I thank each and everyone one of you for this.
